There’s a version of you that came before the noise. Before the expectations. Before you got tired of trying to hold everything together.
That version of you—curious, raw, full of fire—might feel like a stranger now. Maybe life threw too much at you. Maybe you stopped asking big questions. Maybe you’ve just been surviving.
But here's what I want to say:
That version of you isn’t gone. They didn’t die. They just went quiet.
And you’re not alone in this.So many of us are walking around playing roles, ticking boxes, doing what we’re “supposed” to—until one day we wake up and realize…“I don’t recognize myself anymore.”
If you’ve ever felt that—this is for you.
You’re not what you do.
You are not your job title, your Instagram bio, your productivity, or the version of you others expect. You’re not even the voice in your head that criticizes everything you do.
There’s something underneath all of that.A quieter, deeper self. And that part of you craves a few simple things:
Meaning over routine
Freedom over performance
Truth over pretence
Wonder over numbness
You may have lost touch with it. That’s okay. What matters is this:
You can come back.
Here’s how you start remembering
Not with a dramatic life change. Not with quitting everything or posting some long caption.
Start by creating small pockets of honesty.Moments where you let the real you breathe again.
Make something just for you.
Sit in silence and ask yourself what you’re actually feeling.
Say no to something that doesn’t align—even if it’s hard.
Say yes to something that feels small but true.
Let yourself feel everything, even the mess.
Don’t chase the old you. Invite them in. Slowly. Gently. Consistently.
You’re allowed to come home to yourself.
You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to stop pretending. You’re allowed to rebuild—not into what the world wants, but into what your soul remembers.
And if you forget again tomorrow, no shame.Just come back.Begin again.
You're not behind. You're not broken. You're just waking up.
So take a breath. You’re already on your way.
